SecuGen’s highly versatile USB fingerprint sensor modules capture and transmit fingerprint data and can be integrated into a wide range of hardware devices. These compact and durable fingerprint modules are based on SecuGen’s latest, patented fingerprint technology that ensures high quality imaging and accuracy.

  • The U10 features an ultra-slim design and meets FBI Image Quality standards.The fingerprint sensor was certified by the FBI as tested and in compliance with the FBI’s Next Generation Identification (NGI) Image Quality Specifications (IQS). The review of the test data was conducted by the FBI / Criminal Justice Information Services Division / Global Operations Section, as part of the Biometric Center of Excellence. It is FBI Certified as supporting the PIV, FIPS 201, and Mobile ID FAP 10 specifications.
  • The U20-A features an ultra-compact design and meets FBI Image Quality standards.The fingerprint sensor was certified by the FBI as tested and in compliance with the FBI’s Next Generation Identification (NGI) Image Quality Specifications (IQS). The review of the test data was conducted by the FBI / Criminal Justice Information Services Division / Global Operations Section, as part of the Biometric Center of Excellence. It is FBI Certified as supporting the PIV, FIPS 201, and Mobile ID FAP 30 specifications.

All models can be integrated with IP54-rated applications that require dust and water resistance and ruggedness for use in tough environments.

Mounting Brackets

Mounting brackets that hold the U-Series fingerprint sensors are available for purchase separately. The bracket allows for a consistent, secure fit of the sensor module when integrating with your hardware.

The U10 type mounting bracket fits all modules based on the U10 sensor.

The U20 type mounting bracket fits all modules based on the U20 / U20-A / UPx sensor.
